I went for a picnic on a hill with Dare, who is a teenager, of course. And Sammie and Lisa. Later, I was Sammie's helper when he grilled meat. You can see Mia, the dog, in the picture. She ate two mouses, which was disgusting.

The pink bracelet that Nyle is wearing, I'm wearing one too. But you can't see it in the picture. The bracelet allowed us to ride on the zoomomobile. Nyle is my cousin.

My grandmother made this doll but I helped her with the stuffing and other kinds of work. Are you going to be in my kindergarten class, Saya? If you are, you'll see the real doll when I bring her to school for "rest time." I miss you, Saya.

Science Center

Well, I went to Ontario Science Center today. It was stupendous. I'm now looking forward to going to the zoo. And to partying!

A Walk in the Park

Even though I want to show you this picture I took on the way to the park yesterday, I'd rather play a game called "Zingo!" I beat everyone at this game, including Faizi. It's raining outside and I have a runny nose. I got an injection yesterday. My arm really hurts from the vaccination and feels gummy.

I'm in Toronto

Nana is not in the hospital any more. He's going to buy mangoes for me today. Guess what? I didn't go to school today either. Ha-ha, ha-ha.
I have been watching TV, Treehouse, my favorite channel in Canada. (Except that I don't like "The Mole Sisters.") Actually it's only my first favourite. I don't know the name of my second favourite channel, but "Words" comes on it.

Sunset Park

Uncle Yemi took these pictures. Mama was helping me make a flower crown. Then I put some of the flowers in Baba's hair. Also, I don't want to go to school.

Squirt, the Turtle

This is Squirt in his tank next to his tree which has fallen down into the water. Today, after school, Dad took me again to Coney Island. If you've been to Coney Island, you might have seen turtles being sold on the street. Squirt is tiny as a quarter or maybe a little bit bigger. I have to change the water every two days, feed him a pellet of food every two days, and always wash my hands before I take him out of the tank to touch him. Squirt is also the name of my teacher Gwen's turtle. If you're Saya or one of my friends, you will know Gwen. Tonight Squirt is going to sleep in his box near the window.

Get Well Soon

Nana and Dadi are both in hospital. I want them to get well soon. Signed, Little Heart.

It's the Weekend

Before I went out to ride my bike, I pretend-blowdried Mama's hair. Sujata Aunty, Rain's mom, sent me the beauty kit. It was a surprise! My bike's name is Sapphire.

Mama tricked me. She said we would go on an adventure but instead she took me to school. Super darn it! Now I've to go to school tomorrow too because my second-favorite teacher said that it will be her birthday.
